VIDEO: “Crime of the century!” Trump shows off video of Obama’s alleged arrest

US President Donald Trump posted a video showing former President Barack Obama allegedly being captured inside the White House. However, the AI-generated video fueled the controversy surrounding alleged election fraud.

The declassification of a key document by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has rekindled the debate over alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

Trump shared the AI-generated video on his social media, in which FBI agents are seen subduing Obama inside the White House, while the current president smiles. Subsequent images of Barack in prison sparked controversy due to Donald Trump's direct insinuation.

“Obama himself invented the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax. Crooked Hillary, Sleepy Joe, and many others participated in this, the crime of the century! Irrefutable proof. A major threat to our country!” the president wrote on social media after the video was released.

The report, originally prepared for former President Barack Obama , acknowledges that there were no alterations to the vote count in the 2016 election, although attempts at unauthorized access were detected in 20 states.

While Russia maintains that it had the intent and capability to interfere, the report reveals no direct link to altering the election results. However, leaked internal emails suggest that Obama administration officials may have influenced the report's writing to support an anti-Trump narrative.

This led to accusations of institutional manipulation during the presidential transition, aimed at discrediting the then president-elect. Fox News called the findings "overwhelming evidence" of a possible conspiracy.
